For over 5 years, ChicagoMSDC has been an avid supporter of The St. Joseph’s Carmelite Home, which provides emergency shelter to children needing immediate care due to a family or personal crisis. Each year, the Council invites our Annual Meeting guests to provide donations in the form of toys and clothing and each year we have been blown away by the level of generosity.

The St. Joseph’s Carmelite Home faculty informed the Council that due to newly imposed COVID-19 restrictions, physical gift donations are not being encouraged at this time. As we have done so often in these post-pandemic times, ChicagoMSDC has decided to pivot in an effort to continue to support this cause and honor our long standing commitment to this worthwhile organization.

In lieu of toys and clothing, the Council invites you to make GIFT CARD donations in denominations between $5 and $25 to facilitate safe gift giving directly to the children and families in need.
