The Chicago Minority Supplier Council is pleased to share that our CEO and President has been named a Crain’s 2021 Notable Executive in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
It was one year ago, July 1, 2020, that J. Vincent Williams assumed the presidency of the ChicagoMSDC. In the midst of a pandemic, Mr. Williams has charted a part forward for the Council. He launched the #BuyDiverse podcast, a first for an MSDC, and hosted two Business Opportunity Fairs in virtual settings to continue to engage minority businesses and corporate partners in the work of expanding supplier diversity.
CBOF54 recently wrapped up and included over 25 sponsors and 50 exhibitors. Mr. Williams is excited about the work ahead of the Council and continuing to partner with stakeholders aligned with the organization’s mission of certifying, developing, connecting, and advocating for minority-owned businesses.
