Annual Scholarship Classic

The 2020 Escape from Quarantine Scholarship Classic Fundraiser

The ChicagoMSDC Minority Business Input Committee invites you to meet the President and play golf at White Eagle Golf Club to help raise money for student scholarships. Every year the ChicagoMSDC Minority Business Input Committee invites local minority business enterprises, corporate members, and advocates of the supplier diversity community to join our fundraising efforts to support student scholarships by playing golf or tennis or swimming at the private pool, providing excellent opportunities to network with new and familiar faces. Due to COVID-19, this year we will not be able to host the same type of event, but will still offer an opportunity to safely gather for an informal round of golf on August 17, 2020.

SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT: Considering all of the uncertainties and changes due to the current pandemic, the ChicagoMSDC extends the invitation to participate in a very simple "Say-Hey-Play-and-Go" style engagement. Safety is paramount and all social distancing and safety requirements will be observed in accordance with Illinois Department of Health guidelines.

Participants are invited to meet and greet the Council's new President and CEO, Vincent Williams, in this informal setting. "Please no handshakes!" said Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The Minority Business Input Committee (MBEIC) invites you to join ChicagoMSDC for an incredible day of fundraising.  Your participation helps the Council extend scholarships awards ($3,000 per student) to defray financial obligations of academic expenses or tuition. Each year, the MBEIC celebrates the academic achievements of young college-bound and active college students by announcing the awards at the Chicago Business Opportunity Fair. This year the Council awarded 10 scholarships and showcased the students by video. Click to See the 2020 Scholarship Winners. In addition to our CPS student awards, the ChicagoMSDC Scholarship Fund also seeks to offer stipends for growing certified minority business enterprises attending Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business, NMSDC Executive Management Program.
