ChicagoMSDC has officially initiated an active search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. has officially initiated an active search for a new President and Chief Executive Officer.

The Nominations Committee has selected David Gomez Partners, Inc., a nationally recognized executive search firm, to lead the search for a new President/CEO for the Council.

The President, a senior-level management position, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (ChicagoMSDC). The President reports directly to the chairperson of the Board of Directors. The President's primary areas of responsibility include securing minority-owned business participation in the corporate and public buying entity procurement process while promoting and advocating for minority supplier development in the geographic area served by the Council. Day-to-day operations, including personnel, financial, and program management, are the direct responsibility of the President. The President has wide latitude in exercising independent initiative and judgment, subject to the policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors.
